The Stockton Public Library is currently having a book sale,
we have all sorts of books, some new, some very old, come in and see for yourselves.

We have also listed some old series of books on Alibris.com to try to sell some of our older books this way. If interested please come in or call.

2009 Parade of Christmas Trees

It's time again for the Annual Parade of Christmas Trees at the Stockton Public Library. This is the 25th year for the display so let's make this one the biggest and best yet. We are asking for your help again this year to make the display a success by having your organization, business, classroom or you as an individual put up and decorate a tree.

Trees may be up any time between October 19th and November 20th at 5:00 p.m. during regular Library hours. Remember to bring your own tree skirts and extension cords and mark them.

There will be an opening from 1:00 to 4:00 on Friday, November 27th in conjunction with the Stockton Area Chamber of Commerce Olde Time Christmas that day. Trees will remain on display throughout the month of December during regular Library hours.

There will be People's Choice Awards 1st and 2nd for a Youth and Adult Division sponsored by the Stockton Area Chamber of Commerce. Viewers will be able to vote for their favorite tree. Prizes will be awarded December 18th.

Please register your tree at the Library or call Chris Sander @ 425-6372 or 425-6059.

Please remember to take down your tree sometime between Jan. 3rd and Jan. 10th, during regular library hours.
